While our menu may be limited, the delicious items we can create with current ingredients is expansive. We named Milo’s Cahaba Heights our official test kitchen in January of 2025 to experiment with new items we think you might like – but ultimately, you are the judge of that and we want to hear about it. Milo’s test kitchen allows our guests to try new items and tell us what they think before it goes live to all locations. We are creating new recipes every 4-6 weeks to see what our guests like best and what’s potentially worthy of donning the sacred Milo’s menu.

House Made Chips
House made chips have been internally tested for years. In March of 2025, we finally let our customers try them too. While they didn't settle on the main menu, they have proven their spot on our catering menu. These chips are salty, crispy and hearty, making them the perfect pairing for a good dip so next time you are planning a party, don't sleep on the Milo's House Made Chips!
Mini Funnel Cake
The mini funnel cake was introduced in May 2025. It was a simple treat with crispy edges, and a soft center that would melt in your mouth upon each bite. You may see this featured item again some day, but for now, we are sticking with the pies.
Grilled Chicken Tenders
They were so good that they earned their spot on the Milo's menu. You can now order grilled tenders at all Milo's locations and we suggest that you do. You've tried the fried, now get your fill of the grilled.
Strawberry Lemonade
Before we could even add a label to the dispenser, Strawberry Lemonade was flying off the shelves. It is sweet, tart, and delightfully refreshing. This featured item was on the menu only 6 weeks before being rolled out to all Milo's locations.
BLT
Longtime fans may recall that the BLT made its debut on the Milo's menu back in 2016. It was an LTO that left the menu about 1 year later, but remained as a secret menu item that is still ordered by many today. The test kitchen is bringing the BLT to light with the twist of an inside out bun to create an even crunchier bite. It is a classic, refreshing sandwich that is perfect for the summertime.
